This was where she lived in the early 1950s before landing her breakthrough role in Roman Holiday, which won her an Academy Award. Marc Bolan, the frontman of T. Rex and a pioneer of the glam rock movement, will be honored with a plaque at one of his former residences in west London. Known for hits such as Get It On and Children of the Revolution, Bolan helped shape the sound of the 1970s music scene with his distinctive voice and flamboyant style.
